I'm Back from India, but I haven't had time to download my photos. I saw many beautiful things, especially lovely were the handoven cotton and silk textiles and the Moorish architecture of Rajathan. Especially memorable was the hotel where we stayed in Jaipur, Samode Haveli, a former Palace for the rajputs of Jaipur. I promise I will post more later when a bit recovered from jet lag....

Just looking through my files and I came upon these cute 100% cotton totes from Dolly Blake, a British comapany run by Caroline Jones.

Inspiration India--I'm Off to India

Hi all you lovelies. Sorry I've been rather mute, but I've been busy getting ready for my trip. I am off to India for two weeks where I'll be hunting for beautiful textiles and such, and hopefully, I'll be bringing some back to sell. I've posted some photos of some of my favorite Indian textiles. Sorry, but I will give credit when I return. I hope to take lots of photos, but may not be able to post until I return.
