New Design: Twinkle Twinkle

Twinkle Twinkle

Barbara Perrine Chu

The Vibrant Drawings of Dale Chihuly

Well known for his incredible glass installations and as a pioneer of the studio glass movement, Chihuly is less well known for his vibrant drawings. Looking like dancing molten glass, the colors seem to explode on the paper. The pieces are especially effective shown as a group. I saw an amazing installation of his drawings in Los Angeles. The work covered a whole wall. What energy! You can also see his work at Arthur Roger Gallery in New Orleans.

Living in Linen--Linen Me--Affordable Luxury

I love the look and feel and simple elegance of linen.  I've often thought I'd love to sleep on linen sheets, but they have always been a bit too pricey. Now Britain's Linen Me makes living in linen affordable. From bath towels, table linens and sheets, to clothing and lovely scarves, Linen Me sources their linens in Lithuania.

Handsome, Strong, and Practical--Moop Handmade Bags

The people at Moop design and manufacture all their bags in their Pittsburgh studio. I love the simple, clean lines, and they look like they're made to last.

The Beauty of Linen--Tricia Rose's Rough Linen

A great find! Tricia Rose's Rough Linens have a lovely homespun feel but are also so comfortable and elegant--in that simple rumply way.
