How I love Arthur Dove's (18880 - 1946) moody, abstracted landscapes. If I could afford his paintings, I would collect his work. An early modernist and friend of Alfred Stieglitz and Georgia O'Keef, Dove and his wife, painter, Helen Torr, lived and painted in a little cottage on Long Island. To see more of his paintings online, go to the Alexandre Gallery in New York.
