Cape Town Painter, Jenny Parsons

Working mainly in oisl or pastels, Jenny Parsons creates colorful landscapes and florals inspired by her Cape Town home. I especially love her bouquets of protea, flowers that are also grownon the slopes of Haleakala in Up Country Maui. I discovered her lovely work via the very interesting site, Miss Moss.

Textile Designs by Raoul Dufy

How cute is this!

The French Fauvist, Raoul Dufy, said that his "eyes were made to erase all that was ugly." Thank you Raoul! He also created some beautiful textiles. I've included a few of them here which I found  via the auction house, Christies. You can find out more about the artist and his traveling exhibit, "A Celebration of Beauty" here.
