    The first one - absolutely huge - was at York Art Gallery (here in the UK) last year as it's a local scene. I have to confess that it was completely wasted on me- I found it very crude, without being 'naive' or 'primitive', with dull colours and shabby execution. I think it looks much better when backlit on a computer screen. Hope I haven't committed heresy by saying this!

    Thanks for your comment Gilly. It's always great to have a candid opinion. I am knocked out by his work, but I have only seen his recent work online.
