I fell in love with ralli quilts when I was in India, especially the antique ones, that have been softened by years of laundering. The quilts are made by women in Western India and Pakistan from scraps of brightly-colored fabics. I love how the contrasting patterns have been pieced together in unexpected ways. These lovely quilted Indian textiles are from Denmark's Rie Elise Larson.
