Chinese artist, Hu Yongkai, was born in Beijing but now divides his time between China and the US. His paintings blend traditional Chinese scenes with Western influences. To me they look like modern Chinese folk art. To see more of his work online, go to HaKaren Art Gallery in Singapore.
