 From Remodelista--Dutch chef, Gert Jan Hegeman bought an old greenhouse slated for demolition on the outskirts of Amsterdam, and with noted Dutch designer, Piet Boon, transformed it into De Kas, a stunning restaurant featuring produce grown in nearby fields. It's one of my husband's favorite restaurants in the world--and we are both huge fans of Piet Boon's design.
