Russian / French artist, Ossip Zadkine (1890 - 1967), best known as a sculptor but was also a gifted painter. He was married to fellow artist, Valentine Prax. Valentine donated their home to the City of Paris which now houses the Zadkine Museum.
Actually, the picture of the Zadkine Museum in Paris, is the Zadkine Museum in Les Arques. I'm still trying to find the name of the foremost sculpture in that picture.
ReplyDeleteFinally found the name of the scultures outside the museum in Les Arques here: http://oeuvre.zadkine.perso.sfr.fr/MUSEES/MUSEES_OZ_LES_ARQUES.htm
ReplyDelete(it's been quite a search before I found this site)
