Dorothea Tanning (1910 - 2012)--best known as one of the leading Surrealist painters of the 1930's, married for thirty years to Surrealist painter and sculptor, Max Ernst. Beautiful, courageous, and talented, she lived and continued to work until the ripe age of 101--and looks like she had quite a life
