Works by Cuernavaca, Mexico-based artist Joy Laville, born in Britain in 1923. She came to San Miguel de Allende as a young woman to study art where she met and married writer Jorge Ibarguengoitia in 1973 who later died in a plane crash. Her paintings reflect her loss.
