Inspiration: Polly Apfelbaum

Installation of Hand-cut and Dyed Velvet

Wood Block Prints

Polly Apfelbaum calls her bold, brightly-colored installations, " fallen paintings." Her simple flower shapes remind me of the 1960's--flower power. She lives and works in New York City. To see more of her work, go to her web site www.pollyapfelbaum.com.
