Inspiration: Scottish Artist, Christine Woodside

Born in Aberdeen in 1946, Christine Woodside's charming landscapes and still lifes are inspired by the Tuscan hills and her native Scotland. Her vividly colored, mixed media paintings are created by layers of oil, watercolor, pastel, and applied paper. To see more of her work online, visit Panter and Hall in London.

  2. Always interesting to see a painter who isn't afraid of paint and painting, so many artist today are into photorealism or have given up on figurative painting but this artist is true to the medium.

  3. I like it, but only because it is heavily influenced by Anne Redpath et al. Too derivative.
