Vintage French Ticking

Indigo Seas in Los Angeles

The Ivy Restaurant in Los Angeles

The Ivy Restaurant

There is something so classic about ticking and the vintage French ticking is my favorite. Originally produced for mattress and pillow covers, it is now a much-coveted fabric. At the famed eclectic boutique, Indigo Seas in Los Angeles,  ticking is boldly mixed with other stripes and florals for la dolce vita. I found most of these lovely vintage French fabrics via The Textile Trunk and her site on ebay.

  3. Hi Nancy,

I know people who love The Ivy, but I've never been. It's an institution in LA. I have been to their shop, Indigo Seas. I love all the fun mixture of colors and patterns--

    Aloha,
