House Ocho, partially sunk into the site and situated in a nature preserve in California's Santa Lucia Mountains (near Soledad, California), was designed by San Francisco-based Feldman Architecture. I have a special fondness for this area as my father lived on this rugged mountain side filled with California oaks and a beautiful view of the Salinas valley.
